TWELFTH NIGHT (or WHAT YOU WILL)

William Shakespeare

16-19 July 2003

About The Play

Twelfth Night

Written for entertainment, and thought to have been first performed in 1601, this funniest of Shakespeare’s comedies is still very much alive and accessible in 2003.

The inhabitants of Illyria (some place in the Balkans but could be anywhere around the Mediterranean) and its shipwrecked visitors combine to create a fast moving, lively and ebullient atmosphere.

A play about loss, love and attraction in all its wonderful glory.
