Well done to Matt Filmore, Simon Kelly and Andrew Dunning plus all the offstage helpers in putting on a very good festival entry, "Rough for Theatre 2" by Samual Beckett. I was proud to have the mdg name associated with this production.

Maidenhead Drama Guild present ROUGH FOR THEATRE 2by Samuel Beckett Directed by Matt Filmore Two businessmen, Morvan and Bertrand, arrive at an apartment to conclude their assessment of the life of the enigmatic Mr C, a life-worn character who is staring out through a window, preparing to jump to his certain death. They discuss his life, trying to seek a suitable reason why he should jump; however, as the discussions progress it is obvious that they are actually in an eternal battle which extends far beyond this apartment and this case.
