Your mother's threatening to move to a cheaper part of the country because her dot.com empire has collapsed and your father's abandoned you; do you move away from the smart Thames Side apartment, the posh school and your best friend, because the only job mother can find is office cleaning?
Well, Sorrell, only sixteen but old beyond her years, thinks she's found, with the reluctant help of her friend Kelly, the perfect solution; but sadly her daring GamePlan goes pear shaped and this hilarious comedy merges into farce.
GamePlan, one of three in the The Damsels in Distress trilogy by that master of comedy Alan Ayckbourn. The common theme linking the plays is the setting, a London Docklands apartment and all three concern young women in various states of distress. "GamePlan was the one that made me laugh out loud as I read it."
