About The Plays

Womberang

Womberang, by Sue Townsend, takes a wry look at sex and its consequences. It follows the fortunes of a motley collection of women at the afternoon gynaecological clinic of an NHS hospital.

Directed by Carol Hennessy

Play For Yesterday

Also known as "The last black and white midnight movie", the action takes place in the Alps where a body of skiers/climbers are lost on the mountain As the weather descends upon them they start to face up to the untold turths of their pasts and face their real selves.

It takes all the cliches of the old 40's films and puts them together into one comic whole.

There are splendid opportunities for over-acting on the part of all the cast - not difficult for MDG !!

Directed by John Rigg
