The Maidenhead Pantomime - Sleeping Beauty

About The Play

Set in a Medieval Fairy Tale Kingdom, the tale of sleeping beauty is a magical story of Good over evil. With the curse of the black fairy, Carrabosse, hanging over the baby beauty, will she sleep forever or will a handsome prince come to her rescue.

Only the kiss from a handsome prince will awaken beauty from her sleep, can he with the help of Funny Nanny Fanny Fishface and Tickles the jester release Beauty from the Spell.

Will the evil Carabosses spell work?

Will The prince manage to fight through the forest of thorns and rescue Beauty?

Will Beauty ever wake up?

Will the audience ever be able to shout "Hello Funny Nanny Fanny FishFace"?

Can the audience help to make sure Beauty meets her prince and lives happily ever after?

This traditional pantomime, is filled with all the ingredients which make this story an enduring favourite with the children. Fun, Laughter, Songs, Audience Participation all add to this enchanting story.
