To be performed at the Desborough Suite, Maidenhead Town Hall
In the days of Olde England, while good King Richard was off crusading, the Evil Prince John – aided by the not quite so evil and a bit stupid Sheriff of Nottingham – ruled the kingdom. Who can save the poor from ever increasing taxes? Who can restore good to the country and defeat Prince John?
Only one man might be able to do it. And to be honest we are not really sure if he can, especially as he seems to spend all his time daydreaming about the lovely Maid Marian.
So come and join us at this year’s Maidenhead Pantomime to see Robin and his crew of Will Scarlet, Little John, Friar Tuck and the rest of the gang in a romp through Sherwood Forest to see if calm and wellbeing can be restored to the country, and whether or not he’ll get the girl.
Everyone’s hopes lie with Robin Hood. Saints preserve us!
